so i did one of those things where you put your ipod (or in my case: zen) on shuffle and then use the song titles as the answer to the question. (for more of an explanation look at joel faber's blog. i desided to copy him and post my results too) so this is what i got:
1. How do you feel about tour?
Life Could be a Dream (my first year serenade)
2. How do you feel about Dr T?
He Has The Power
3. How is your faith life?
Hear Me ~ Kelly Clarkson
4. How are you?
Independant Woman ~ DC3
5. What are your vocational plans?
Going Under ~ Evanescence
needless to say these results gave me a great laugh. i hope that you all enjoyed them.

Shawna Bethlehem
hey everyone.
so i have noticed two things:
1. it has been a long time since i have blogged
2. i seem to be starting a trend where i only post things that are sad.
but here we go anyway. so an old friend of mine from high school got in a very serious car accident on friday January 25. instead of writting all of this out i will just copy and paste a bit from the blog her father has set up:
Good morning Friends and family. As most of you have heard and been there for us, our daughter Shawna was involved in a very serious car accident in which she had to be extracted and airlifted to Hamilton General Hospital. She underwent major surgery to remove her spleen and repair her deflated left lung and fix other blood loss. At one point it was told to myself Debbie and Darryl that the doctors had done everything they could but she was bleeding out from the thin blood(she received 15 units). They gave her a special shot to promote clotting which seemed to stabilize her enough to have a cat scan done to determine the extent of head injuries. It was determined at that point she would have to have immediate surgery to remove part of her skull to allow the brain to expand upwards instead of down which would kill the brain. surgery was completed at 330am today and she is resting comfortably. The brain will continue to expand for between 48 to 72 hours. This is a critical time in our daughters life. Her blood pressure and heart beat is good as well as the brain pressure. We also learned that she only had a broken pelvis which is going to be held in place externally. I just got off the phone with Rebecca who is at her side and she apparently squeezed back on Rebecca's hand. They will be completing surgery closures to her stomach area this afternoon. We continue to be upheld and encircled by our Lords arms and we are most appreciative to all the support we have been shown by our brothers and sisters in Christ. Please continue to pray for Shawna that she also may experience the riches of God's mercy.
Yours in Christ Al and Deb Bethlehem
since that day she has made much progress towards recovery. she is still unconscious but her heart rate increases and her eyelids flutter in response to certian people talking to her. she is also able to slightly squeeze people's hands in response to touch. however there is still the fear of extreme brain injuries which may leave Shawna very disabled.
we know that the only reason that Shawna has come through this far is all because of her Heavenly Father. Praise be to God!!! Please help this family by lifting them up in your prayers as they stuggle with God's plans for Shawna's life.
God be with Mr and Mrs Bethlehem, Will and Kate, Becky and Shaun, Darryl (Shawna's boyfriend), Jessica, Allan, and Darren.
ps. for some happy news: my brother mike got engaged on Monday night. Congrats Mike and Alisha
